About the role
- Analyze player behavior patterns, retention metrics, and KPIs to uncover insights that inform product and marketing strategies.
- Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide real-time visibility into performance metrics such as DAU/MAU, retention, conversion, and LTV.
- Partner with data engineering to implement alerting and monitoring systems to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Conduct cohort and lifecycle analysis to understand player engagement, retention and monetization trends.
- Apply and promote Tableau best practices for permanence optimization, interactivity, and reusability across dashboards and teams.
- Train and support internal stakeholders in using Tableau and other BI tools for self-service analytics.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, visual narratives that drive alignment and actions across teams.
- Collaborate with data engineering and game teams to define metrics and ensure consistent reporting.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in gaming or tech.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build Tableau dashboards with advanced interactivity (filters, parameters, LOD calculations).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and governance best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
