About the role

  • Owns the day-to-day operation of all Information Systems and all IT Infrastructure at the Atlanta office
  • Work with Corporate IT to maintain local network and infrastructure
  • Maintains Servers (physical and virtual), switches, printers and copiers, local phone system, and other in-house devices, as well as security camera system, NVR server, and any remote viewing stations and remote viewing software
  • Support office 365 for all staff
  • Install and support corporate antivirus software and ensure deployment and functionality of any security utilities or patches deemed appropriate by corporate security
  • Create and maintain user accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory environment
  • Support windows workstations and windows servers both physical and virtual
  • Setup and support all company owned mobile devices and mobile applications (email, SAP Concur, MS Multifactor Authentication, etc.)
  • Provide training for all new hardware and software that is used on site and perform network orientations for new hires at responsible sites
  • Responsible for maintaining server room environment (climate control systems, PDU, and backup power systems – generator and UPS’)
  • Respond to IT requests through corporate IT helpdesk software and document all IT hardware/software changes
  • Work with IT vendors and contractors for warranty hardware repairs
  • Backup of all servers and owns the responsibility for operating and maintenance onsite and cloud corporate backup systems
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for all users when required
  • Provide after-hours support by participating in after-hours on-call rotation
  • Budgeting for new/used hardware and software and licenses

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT Management or another related field required
  • Computer troubleshooting knowledge and skills including MS active directory, current Windows desktop and server operating systems, knowledge of HP switches, phone systems (mobile and landline)
  • Working knowledge of VMWare ESXi environment operations and maintenance, Cisco and HP switches, software, phone systems (mobile and landline) experience preferred
  • Ability to keep up to date with new and emerging technologies
  • Good written and verbal communication, with a strong customer service, and ability to work as a team and unsupervised
  • Great attitude with professionalism to support high end office with directors and managers.
