About the role
- Oversee the financial operations of the organization ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Manage the accounting team and prepare financial statements
- Conduct financial analysis and develop accounting policies and procedures
- Coordinate audits and tax filings
- Collaborate with other departments for financial insights and support decision-making processes
- Key role in budgeting and forecasting
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 4-8 years of progressive accounting management experience required
- MBA or CPA is strongly preferred
- Prior audit experience or experience dealing with external auditors is highly desirable
- Ability to manage and motivate a team in an ever-evolving environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with various levels of management and to influence others without formal authority
- Strong analytical abilities and organizational skills are essential to success in this position
- Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications as well as Aramark financial systems is required.
