About the role
- Provide analytical support with problem mindset to generate ad hoc or standard reports to the Sales organization, and other departments as needed
- Maintain and publish the Key Business Indicators (KBI) and scorecards to interested parties
- Manage the reporting flow by reviewing data, ensuring data accuracy on a timely basis, and communicating changes to appropriate parties
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of reporting systems, Microsoft Access, and SQL to develop spreadsheets, reports and analysis and serve as a subject matter expert
Requirements
- Experience writing SQL queries preferred
- Excel VBA experience a plus
- Superior technical and analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets, modeling applications and databases
- Ability to sort through various data sources and summarize details in business report format
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology
- Superior organizational, writing, and project management skills to effectively maintain and report on critical procurement data
- Demonstrated history of suggesting and implementing process improvements
- Ability to succeed with minimal direction
- Detail-oriented and ability to keep customers informed of progress
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous work environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Customer service orientation; strive to exceed customer expectations.
