About the role
- Leads operational excellence and compliance across Student Nutrition Foodservice programs
- Ensures alignment with Federal nutrition requirements and Aramark policies
- Responsible for developing and executing strategic processes, training programs, and performance monitoring systems
- Ensures operational policies and procedures adhere to K-12 compliance standards
- Develops, implements, and maintains standard operating procedures on all field-facing processes
- Plans trainings, programs including defining objectives, methods, timetables, and budget to support Aramark/CPS strategic plan
- Evaluates operational performance and develops plans to improve service or compliance
- Supports school openings and closings, ensures FOH and BOH SOPs and operations expectations are communicated
Requirements
- current or previous Aramark operations experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food management
- Knowledge of safety, food, and labor management processes
- Proficiency in systems supporting safety and food management
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
- Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
