About the role
- Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise culinary activities
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
- Select and develop recipes and standardize production recipes
- Establish presentation technique and quality standards and plan menus
- Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance and safety in kitchen
- Oversee special catering events and offer culinary instruction
Requirements
- Ideal applicants will graduate between December 2025 and August 2026
- Students with a degree or background in the culinary arts or hospitality
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Proven knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Food safety certification
- Excellent verbal, written, and professional communication skills
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends or holidays
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
