About the role
- Responsible for scheduling, training, organizing, and assigning employees in daily operations for the Sanitation Departments
- ensure employees follow governmental safety and environmental standards
- interviewing and hiring all personnel
- Ensure that AIB standards are being maintained throughout the facility
- Relieve supervisors and facility manager during his/her vacation(s)
- Act as a liaison between Flowers Bakery and Aramark personnel
- Conducts monthly team and safety meetings
- Performs other duties as directed by the Facility Manager
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sanitations operations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Must read, write and understand the native language, communicate (both verbal and written) effectively, and apply discretion and comprehensive understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Requires knowledge of machinery related to sanitation operations
- Requires listening, interpersonal, computer and leadership skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and apply elementary math functions
- Ability to work well under time constraints
- Adaptable to customer needs.
