About the role
- Cook and prepare various foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Prepare the daily menu
- Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, and colleagues
- Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction
- Clean and maintain your workstation
- Be able to respond to operational needs
- Perform any other related duties as required
Requirements
- DEP in Culinary Arts preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong culinary foundation is an asset
- Experience working in remote camps is an asset
- MAPAQ certification
- Be able to respond to operational needs
- Ensure that hygiene and food safety programs are followed
- Adhere to established safety regulations
