About the role
- Shovel snow from main and secondary entrances at the camp
- Ensure walkways are cleared, de-ice stairs, and maintain roofs to prevent falling ice or snow
- Participate in additional tasks as needed (e.g., preparing facilities before a new group arrives, deep cleaning of facilities, assisting other departments)
- Follow current cleaning protocols, including safety measures, chemical handling, and infection control
- Report any breakage, plumbing issues, infestations, or repair needs to the supervisor
- Ensure compliance with Aramark policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must be versatile
- Ability to perform physical work (bending, lifting, standing for long periods)
- Experience in remote camp environments is an asset
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and basic precautions due to physical hazards and the use of hazardous chemicals
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Organized, courteous, personable, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
- WHMIS certification is required
