About the role

  • Responsible for all aspects of culinary operations, including food safety, quality, and innovation.
  • Direct management of Residential Executive Chef and Executive Chef.
  • Drive the culinary reputation of GU Dining.
  • With the team, develop and implement innovations in culinary offerings.
  • Engage with students and develop events that showcase culinary talents.
  • Oversee menu development and implement new concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years’ supervisory experience
  • Associate’s degree plus 3 - 4 years’ supervisory experience
  • 6 - 8 years’ supervisory experience
  • Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively
  • Ability to write letters, summaries, and reports
  • Requires management and leadership skills in addition to good planning and organization skills
