About the role
- Responsible for all aspects of culinary operations, including food safety, quality, and innovation.
- Direct management of Residential Executive Chef and Executive Chef.
- Drive the culinary reputation of GU Dining.
- With the team, develop and implement innovations in culinary offerings.
- Engage with students and develop events that showcase culinary talents.
- Oversee menu development and implement new concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years’ supervisory experience
- Associate’s degree plus 3 - 4 years’ supervisory experience
- 6 - 8 years’ supervisory experience
- Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively
- Ability to write letters, summaries, and reports
- Requires management and leadership skills in addition to good planning and organization skills
