About the role
- Selling Aptos Unified Commerce solutions to prospects and existing customers
- Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Professional Services, and Customer Operations
- Fostering relationships and collaborating with Aptos’ partners to uncover new leads
- Engaging with assigned prospects to uncover business needs using value based selling
- Developing a deep understanding of prospective customers’ business needs and pain points
- Building comprehensive account plans for strategic new logo targets
- Leading strategic sales calls and presentations
- Directing internal resources and keeping stakeholders aligned on opportunity progression
- Preparing and delivering compelling presentations to senior level executives
- Managing opportunity progression in Salesforce.com and accurately forecasting timelines to close new business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience successfully selling enterprise retail software solutions
- Proven track record of new logo acquisition
- Deep understanding of retail, particularly physical retail in the Apparel & Footwear vertical
- Strong executive presence and expertise in cultivating relationships at all levels
- Established relationships with senior executives with retailers in Aptos's target markets
- Extensive outside sales experience engaging Tier 1 and Tier 2 retail leaders
- Proficiency using Salesforce.com
- Comfort using social media as a prospecting and outreach tool
- Proven ability to present and sell effectively in a virtual environment
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of advanced strategic sales techniques and enterprise sales methodologies
- Ability to travel as business needs require.
