About the role

  • Selling Aptos Unified Commerce solutions to prospects and existing customers
  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Professional Services, and Customer Operations
  • Fostering relationships and collaborating with Aptos’ partners to uncover new leads
  • Engaging with assigned prospects to uncover business needs using value based selling
  • Developing a deep understanding of prospective customers’ business needs and pain points
  • Building comprehensive account plans for strategic new logo targets
  • Leading strategic sales calls and presentations
  • Directing internal resources and keeping stakeholders aligned on opportunity progression
  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations to senior level executives
  • Managing opportunity progression in Salesforce.com and accurately forecasting timelines to close new business

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience successfully selling enterprise retail software solutions
  • Proven track record of new logo acquisition
  • Deep understanding of retail, particularly physical retail in the Apparel & Footwear vertical
  • Strong executive presence and expertise in cultivating relationships at all levels
  • Established relationships with senior executives with retailers in Aptos's target markets
  • Extensive outside sales experience engaging Tier 1 and Tier 2 retail leaders
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.com
  • Comfort using social media as a prospecting and outreach tool
  • Proven ability to present and sell effectively in a virtual environment
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of advanced strategic sales techniques and enterprise sales methodologies
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.
