Key responsibilities & impact

Provide administrative and programmatic support for a VA Research Office
Support various research committees and initiatives
Process research proposals involving the use of animal subjects and hazardous materials
Review annual continuation requests and process approvals
Coordinate communication between research committees
Conduct database administration and project tracking

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s in related field such as health administration, public health, or biomedical sciences.
4+ years of relevant project management, research, and/or IRB experience in a healthcare environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Experience with VA/DoD and knowledge of military populations.
Advanced knowledge of the scope and function of the IRB as well as the rules and regulations governing safety regulations and/or animal study research (e.g., VA, FDA, IRB, and GCP regulations)
