About the role

  • Assess training needs, create training materials, and teach classes.
  • Help students with hands-on activities on Wind River’s DevSecOps and edge products.
  • Develop education content covering product features and use cases for instructor-led training and self-paced eLearning.
  • Build lecture and hands-on course materials by engaging with subject matter experts.
  • Develop student assessments to verify competency.
  • Prepare, maintain, and ensure continuous availability of student lab environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within labs, sometimes invoked by students in classes, on the fly.
  • Present technical concepts and specific solutions to internal and external audiences.
  • Mentor junior developers in tooling, product workflows, writing clarity, and lab building.
  • Teach in virtual environments and face-to-face environments.
  • Ensure student interactivity during class using chat, Q&A, polls, practical hands-on exercises, and whiteboarding.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience creating and managing hands-on labs and lecture content
  • Ability to drive cross-org initiatives with high complexity and ambiguity
  • Ability to develop deep technical expertise across multiple products and platforms
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills including the ability to present advanced technical concepts
  • Strongly familiar with cloud or edge environments (e.g. git)
  • The ability to work on a team & independently to develop training material
  • Experience in content development tools such as PowerPoint, Articulate Rise, XML-based authoring tools, Camtasia, and others
  • Experience designing assessments
  • Experience developing and presenting content to technical customer learners.
