About the role
- Lead and own full-cycle (from idea to production) projects that are directly used by and impact millions of people
- Work closely with the product & UX to define product requirements and execute the development plans
- Design system architectures, select/ evaluate tools
- Build cloud-native microservices
- Mentor, and grow the team, our practices, and our technology stack
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience building production-level web applications in large-scale products
- 6+ years of experience with modern full-stack frameworks React/Angular/Vue or equivalent programming language, developing high-scale applications
- 4+ years of experience building reactive web & mobile-web frontends using React/Next/Angular/Vue over TypeScript/JavaScript
- 4+ years of experience with Python as a proper microservice backend
- Passion for clean code and agile work
- Experience with modern cloud environments (GCP, AWS)
- Strong architecture skills – ability to design for scale, and velocity, robustness, and readability of end-to-end data-driven solutions
- Passion for data, customer experience, and building high-quality software
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Bonus: gRPC, protobuf
