About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop Territory Sales Representatives (TSRs) to ensure strong territory coverage, pipeline health, and disciplined sales execution.
- Drive new customer acquisition and local account growth across a broad range of industrial markets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that support diversification, local market penetration, and sustainable growth.
- Partner with key suppliers to align growth initiatives, training, and joint customer development plans.
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of Territory Sales Representatives.
- Own revenue growth, gross margin performance, and pipeline development for assigned markets.
- Ensure full adoption and ongoing compliance with Applied’s CRM platform, including opportunity management, activity tracking, pipeline accuracy, and forecast integrity.
- Maintain regular field presence with TSRs and customers to drive engagement and execution excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- 7+ years of industrial sales experience, ideally within MRO, OEM, or project-driven environments.
- 3+ years of sales leadership or management experience with direct reports.
- Proven ability to drive local account growth, new customer acquisition, and margin improvement.
- Strong communication skills across email, phone, and digital collaboration platforms.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
