About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers, providing guidance and support in technical pre-sales activities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales engineering team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment on business objectives.
- Develop and deeply understand Appgate cybersecurity and fraud protection solutions, emphasizing secure access principles.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to the team.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor technical solutions that meet their cybersecurity needs.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our Zero Trust and Fraud Protection solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity matters.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute technical sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Provide technical expertise during the sales process, addressing customer concerns and ensuring successful product adoption.
- Implement training programs to enhance the technical and soft skills of the sales engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience in the field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a cybersecurity or technology-focused organization.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of ZTNA principles and their application in cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of banking cybersecurity and fraud strategies and related solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Native Spanish speaker with proficiency in English is preferred.
