Accounting Manager

• Manage accounting staff and any additional contractors, including assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality and timeliness across the team
• Own the monthly and quarterly close cycle end-to-end, driving toward a compressed, repeatable timeline with minimal manual intervention
• Day-to-day accounting operations: revenue recognition, AP/AR, payroll entries, and GL maintenance
• Complex revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules across subscription and services contracts
• Preparation of the monthly financial reporting package (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for the CFO
• Annual audit support - PBC list, documentation, and auditor responses alongside the CFO
• Design and implementation of automated close workflows, leveraging AI tools and modern accounting platforms to eliminate manual work that shouldn't exist
• Cross-functional partnership with sales ops, legal, and HR on contracts, vendor agreements, and employee-related accounting matters
• Support for the CFO on board reporting and investor-facing materials as needed
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, payroll entries, and general ledger maintenance
• Lead the design and implementation of automated close workflows, leveraging AI tools and modern accounting platforms to eliminate low-value manual work
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process, including PBC list preparation, documentation, and audit inquiry responses
• Support the CFO on financial modeling, board reporting, and investor-facing materials as needed
• Partner cross-functionally with sales operations, legal, and HR on revenue contracts, vendor agreements, and employee-related accounting matters
• Other duties as assigned

Account Executive

• Partner with Senior AE to expand Northeast Region SLED accounts from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
• Execute on a territory business plan that identifies target accounts, key opportunities, and a clear path to meeting or exceeding quota
• Drive new business development through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, partner relationships, and referrals
• Engage with state agencies, municipalities, school districts, and higher education institutions to uncover cybersecurity needs and align Apollo solutions accordingly
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and procurement officers
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to align on territory strategy, pipeline reviews, forecasting, and go-to-market priorities
• Work cross-functionally with technical, service delivery, and marketing teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions for SLED clients
• Navigate public sector procurement processes, including RFPs, cooperative purchasing vehicles, and state contracts, to remove barriers and accelerate deal velocity
• Identify and develop contracting vehicles (e.g., DIR, TIPS, NCPA) that enable scalable, repeatable sales across the Northeastern SLED market
• Manage and grow an active pipeline in CRM, maintaining accurate opportunity data, activity logs, and forecasts
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to expand Apollo's footprint and deepen client relationships
• Provide market intelligence and client feedback to internal teams to inform product development and service offerings
• Represent Apollo at relevant industry conferences, government forums, and association events across Texas

Account Executive – SLED

Proposal Manager

• Manage end-to-end RFP response process, from opportunity evaluation through final submission
• Prioritize and triage bid opportunities from GovSpend based on strategic fit and win probability including the development of RFP acceptance criteria
• Project manage proposal development, coordinating across technical teams and leadership to ensure all questions are answered and compliance requirements are met
• Partner with Technical Teams, Sales, and Company Leadership to develop go/no go criteria
• Maintain organized proposal library and tracking systems
• Maintain internal repository of proposal content and answers
• Draft compelling proposals that clearly articulate our technical capabilities and value proposition with the aid of AI
• Generate statements of work that accurately scope projects, define deliverables, and set clear expectations
• Write blog posts, case studies, white papers, and thought leadership content that demonstrates our expertise and positions Apollo as an industry leader
• Develop standardized templates and frameworks for common deliverables to increase efficiency
• Develop comprehensive service offering marketing collateral including one-pagers, capability statements, presentations, and pitch decks
• Marketing content materials including website and social media content as bandwidth allows
