Security Engineer

• Independently plan and lead hands-on cybersecurity assessments across enterprise, cloud, and public-sector environments — including election infrastructure at the county, city, and state level.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of technical controls spanning identity and access management, endpoint protection, patch and vulnerability management, secure configuration, network segmentation, data protection, logging/monitoring, and incident response.
• Review and interpret technical configurations and artifacts — firewall rulesets, GPOs, hardening baselines, cloud security configurations, IAM policies, and logging setups — to validate control implementation.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and documentation reviews to understand policy, process, and control maturity.
• Assess client environments against established frameworks and standards including NIST CSF 2.0, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, CMMC, CJIS, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
• Produce detailed assessment reports with prioritized risk findings, maturity ratings, and pragmatic, business-aware recommendations.
• Map findings to client risk and business context, translating technical gaps into clear remediation roadmaps.
• Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders ranging from technical practitioners to executive leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of Apollo’s assessment methodologies, workbooks, tooling, and report templates.
• Mentor junior assessors and perform peer review of assessment deliverables.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineers, advisors, and project managers to deliver high-quality engagements.
• Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory developments.

Cybersecurity Assessor

Security Operations

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools and other security technologies.
• Analyze and triage security alerts to determine severity and potential impact.
• Perform initial incident response activities and escalate issues when necessary.
• Document and track security incidents and their resolutions.
• Assist in creating and maintaining security documentation and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of security metrics and reporting.

SOC Analyst I

Project Manager

• Own the full delivery lifecycle for a portfolio of concurrent cybersecurity engagements, managing scope, schedule, budget, communications, and quality.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and status reporting.
• Coordinate resourcing and scheduling across consultants, managers, engineers, and assessors based on availability, skills, location, and client need.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and scope changes; escalate appropriately.
• Serve as the primary delivery point of contact for assigned clients, managing expectations and communication cadence.
• Coordinate kickoff meetings – both external and internal, working sessions, internal syncs, and stakeholder touchpoints; prepare agendas and ensure attendees are equipped.
• Capture and distribute decisions, action items, and next steps, and drive outstanding actions to closure.
• Lead meetings with relevant questions, tasks, and corrections to ensure engagement timelines are adhered to for meeting Apollo IS and stakeholder requirements.
• Maintain and audit project records to ensure they’re accurate in the Professional Services Automation tool (Cloud Coach) and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Ensure accurate time tracking for billing, forecasting, and performance metrics; support invoicing and revenue recognition inputs.

• Own and work the IT ticket queue: respond to incidents, problems, and service requests, and resolve end-user issues promptly.

• Install, configure, maintain, and administer servers, operating systems, and applications.
• Support operational, technical, and system requirements for server location, installation, operation, and maintenance.

• Partner with SOC Analysts to develop and refine SIEM correlation rules and custom detection methods.

Cybersecurity Engineer

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, helping define and advance cybersecurity strategy across multi-month and multi-year engagements.
• Develop prioritized, business-aware security roadmaps that mature client posture over time.
• Advise on governance, risk, and compliance — aligning programs to frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, CMMC, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
• Translate technical risk into clear business language for executives and boards.
• Own the advisory relationship for assigned clients, driving cadence, measurable progress, and demonstrable risk reduction.
• Partner with assessors and engineers to ground recommendations in technical reality and validate remediation.
• Guide clients through security program development — policy, process, architecture direction, and tooling strategy.
• Support incident readiness, tabletop exercises, and post-incident program improvement as needed.
• Contribute to the maturation of Apollo’s advisory methodology, frameworks, and deliverable templates.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the practice.

Cybersecurity Advisor II

Accounting Manager

• Manage accounting staff and any additional contractors, including assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality and timeliness across the team
• Own the monthly and quarterly close cycle end-to-end, driving toward a compressed, repeatable timeline with minimal manual intervention
• Day-to-day accounting operations: revenue recognition, AP/AR, payroll entries, and GL maintenance
• Complex revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules across subscription and services contracts
• Preparation of the monthly financial reporting package (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for the CFO
• Annual audit support - PBC list, documentation, and auditor responses alongside the CFO
• Design and implementation of automated close workflows, leveraging AI tools and modern accounting platforms to eliminate manual work that shouldn't exist
• Cross-functional partnership with sales ops, legal, and HR on contracts, vendor agreements, and employee-related accounting matters
• Support for the CFO on board reporting and investor-facing materials as needed
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, payroll entries, and general ledger maintenance
• Lead the design and implementation of automated close workflows, leveraging AI tools and modern accounting platforms to eliminate low-value manual work
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process, including PBC list preparation, documentation, and audit inquiry responses
