About the role

  • Supports the Acquisition Program Manager (APM) in assessing programs within schedule and cost baselines.
  • Staffs Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES), Monthly Activity Reports (MAR), and support program management and IMP/IMS reviews.
  • Oversees the allocation of resources based on program requirements.
  • Manages meetings, calendars, agendas, and briefings, including providing program status briefings to senior management.
  • Determines requirements; develops goals and objectives to accomplish program missions.
  • Gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs.
  • Monitors, mentors, and develops lower-level Acquisition Support Specialists and other contractor support personnel.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 12 years of experience with DoD acquisition programs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite software and project management/scheduling applications such as MS Project
Benefits
  • Hybrid: This position offers telework approx. 2 days a week - subject to change per the customer's discretion
