About the role
- Support the development and integration of LAA configuration management and technical data management processes into acquisition, sustainment, and contracting strategies
- Review and evaluate OEM proposals and reports for configuration status accounting
- Plan or implement Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
- Participate in Government review/meetings/working groups
- Review OEM-delivered programmatic data to ensure that deliverables meet technical and programmatic requirements
- Perform configuration management/data management functions
Requirements
- Minimum 11 years directly related experience, with 3 years supporting the DoD
- Planning and implementing Functional Configuration Audits
- Review and analysis of programmatic data such as engineering documents
- Experience with Data management (DIDs, CDRLs, Engineering Data Management (EDM), DR, Deviations/Waivers, Material Improvement Program (MIP) Review Board
- US citizenship
- Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
- Possess a working knowledge of the MEARS Configuration Management tool
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
