About the role

  • Strategic management and development of existing manufacturer and supplier relationships
  • Negotiation of purchasing terms, prices, bonus agreements and framework contracts
  • Analysis of market and pricing developments in the industry
  • Steering assortment development in coordination with Sales and Product Management
  • Planning and implementation of procurement strategies to ensure product availability
  • Close collaboration with manufacturers to plan campaigns, promotions and product launches
  • Analysis of sales, inventory and margin developments
  • Optimization of procurement processes and ensuring an efficient supply chain

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of procurement experience, ideally in an IT distribution environment
  • Experience in supplier and manufacturer management
  • Strong negotiation skills as well as analytical and strategic thinking
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Very good German skills and good English skills
