About the role
- Define and drive the long-term strategy and roadmap for APEXX’s Optimisation and Orchestration suite.
- Establish the commercial framework for optimisation, working with Finance, Sales, and Product Marketing.
- Lead the evolution of optimisation from a capability into a scalable product line.
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science to develop AI/ML-powered optimisation features.
- Collaborate with Sales, Relationship Management, and Marketing teams to articulate product value.
- Translate model performance and analytical insights into ROI-focused narratives for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Promote strong product management discipline across optimisation workstreams.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in Product Management within Payments.
- Deep understanding of payment transaction lifecycle, including authorisation, authentication (3DS), settlement, fraud, and chargebacks.
- Understanding of Interchange and Scheme fees and their application.
- Commercially astute, able to craft value propositions and communicate financial impact confidently to senior and external audiences.
- Natural influencer who can inspire cross-functional teams and align stakeholders around a common product vision.
- Strategic yet hands-on, capable of operating at both portfolio and execution level in a fast-moving environment.
