About the role

  • Promote residents' social participation, citizenship, self-determination and empowerment.
  • Mediate between residents and their immediate environment.
  • Facilitate consultation sessions.
  • Organize and facilitate collective/group activities.
  • Contribute to implementing individuals' life plans.
  • Support the implementation of social inclusion projects and cultural, leisure and sports activities.
  • Maintain, together with the coordinator, ongoing communication with family caregivers and court-appointed legal representatives.
  • Help develop and coordinate a network of local partners to facilitate implementation of individual and collective social and shared living projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the social life plan for the ten residents.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in facilitation/animation or coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the health and social care sector preferred, particularly mental health-related disabilities.
  • Availability for occasional evenings and weekends depending on scheduled activities.
  • Holder of a diploma as Specialized Educator (Éducateur Spécialisé - ES), Family and Social Economy Advisor (Conseiller en Économie Sociale et Familiale - CESF), or an equivalent qualification.
