About the role

  • Oversee and optimize the entire supply chain lifecycle for medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) equipment
  • Lead the development and execution of competitive bidding processes (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) for MV and HV equipment
  • Evaluate bids for both commercial and technical project requirements
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with company objectives
  • Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key suppliers
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, securing favorable terms regarding pricing and delivery timelines
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Quality Assurance teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or strategic sourcing
  • At least 3 years focused specifically on medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) electrical equipment
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of MV and HV power transformers (design, specifications, manufacturing processes, and market dynamics)
  • Familiarity with other substation components is highly desirable
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet with vendors and internal teams
