About the role
- Managing a portfolio of predominantly agribusiness customers
- Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of customers' business and financial needs
- Driving growth through acquisition, increasing share of wallet and referrals
- Collaborating with product partners and other stakeholders to design, structure and execute deals
- Proactively managing credit and operational risks
- Applying Relationship Credit Approval Discretion as appropriate.
Requirements
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Strong understanding of commercial mid-market banking products
- Ability to understand customers business needs and offer tailored solutions
- Experience assessing, advising, monitoring and/or approving a customer's credit worthiness and credit risk and suitable credit structuring options
- Ability to negotiate terms and conditions of credit facilities and other banking products to suit the customers business goals
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive efficiency and create long-term value.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management principles and how to mitigate risks.
