About the role

  • Managing a portfolio of predominantly agribusiness customers
  • Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of customers' business and financial needs
  • Driving growth through acquisition, increasing share of wallet and referrals
  • Collaborating with product partners and other stakeholders to design, structure and execute deals
  • Proactively managing credit and operational risks
  • Applying Relationship Credit Approval Discretion as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Strong understanding of commercial mid-market banking products
  • Ability to understand customers business needs and offer tailored solutions
  • Experience assessing, advising, monitoring and/or approving a customer's credit worthiness and credit risk and suitable credit structuring options
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions of credit facilities and other banking products to suit the customers business goals
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive efficiency and create long-term value.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management principles and how to mitigate risks.
