• Lead Antora’s efforts to identify, evaluate, acquire, and co-develop energy projects for long-duration energy storage (LDES) deployment.
• Originating and structuring novel commercial agreements with renewable developers.
• Build Antora’s pipeline of co-located storage projects through developer relationships, rigorous diligence, and creative deal structuring.
• Develop and manage working relationships with renewable developers in target ISO/RTO markets across the US.
• Negotiate complex and novel agreements to govern co-development and co-location structures.
• Work with internal stakeholders to apply project scoring frameworks to prioritize opportunities based on site quality, development and interconnection status, market access, and strategic fit.

Software Engineer

• Lead and manage the end-to-end interconnection process for Antora projects across MISO, SPP, ERCOT, and other RTOs/ISOs as needed, including application preparation, queue entry, and milestone tracking through each required study phase
• Serve as Antora's primary technical point of contact with RTO/ISO interconnection staff, transmission owners, and utilities on study scope, assumptions, and results
• Navigate the distinct interconnection rules, tariffs, cluster study cycles, and procedural requirements unique to each RTO/ISO, and translate those differences into practical guidance for internal teams
• Track and manage financial postings, security deposits, milestone deliverables, and agreement obligations (e.g., GIA/LGIA/ISA) across the interconnection portfolio
• Develop and maintain single-line diagrams (SLDs) for proposed interconnection configurations, from early feasibility concepts through formal application submittals
• Run and/or critically review stability, dynamic, load flow, and short-circuit studies to evaluate system impacts of proposed interconnections and to stress-test third-party study results
• Evaluate sizing and configuration options (e.g., point of interconnection, voltage level, equipment arrangement) to identify the optimal technical and commercial path for each project
• Interpret utility and RTO study results (system impact studies, facilities studies, deliverability analyses) and translate findings into clear implications for cost, schedule, and project viability
• Direct and manage external engineering consultants performing interconnection studies, modeling, and SLD development, ensuring technical rigor, schedule adherence, and cost discipline
• Scope consultant engagements, review deliverables for quality and completeness, and hold vendors accountable to Antora's technical standards
• Partner with site selection and project development teams to assess interconnection feasibility and technical risk before sites are committed, using hosting capacity data, prior study history, and engineering judgment
• Identify and flag interconnection risks (e.g., restudy exposure, network upgrade cost drivers, deliverability constraints) early enough to influence site selection, project sequencing, and commercial terms
• Build and maintain repeatable frameworks, checklists, and tools to standardize how Antora screens and de-risks new interconnection opportunities across RTOs
• Work closely with the transmission strategy, project development, policy, and commercial teams to align interconnection execution with broader tariff and siting strategy
• Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to non-technical internal stakeholders and senior leadership

Staff or Principal, Generation Interconnection & Grid Engineering

• Organize a cross-functional team of subject matter experts to advance Antora’s energy storage projects from ideation to the execution of commercial contracts.
• Establish project plans and coordinate efforts across engineering, business development, power supply and project finance teams.
• Drive community engagement efforts by representing Antora to landowners and local leaders.

Project Developer

Application Engineer

• Serve as the technical lead for customer opportunities across industrial heat, combined heat & power, and power applications, joining business development on sales calls and owning the technical conversation with customer engineering/operations teams and executives
• Run technical discovery: own customer data requests (load profiles, steam conditions, utility data, plot plans, one-lines) and site walkdowns; validate opportunity screens for standard applications and run first-pass technical screening for novel ones
• Size and configure Antora's product for each site within its configurable envelope, creatively optimizing trade-offs across performance, cost, and site constraints
• Produce conceptual site layouts, heat integration designs, and site boundary-condition definitions
• Own the product-side electrical configuration and manage the product-to-interconnection interface with our energy/interconnection team
• Own proposal-stage configuration analysis and cost estimates supporting letters of intent, term sheets, and internal investment approvals
• Support RFP/RFI responses; anticipate and resolve customer technical objections to keep deals moving
• Support commercial negotiations with technical exhibits and performance guarantees for LOIs and term sheets with sharp judgment on the economic implications of design choices and guarantees we commit to
• Prepare basis-of-design handoff packages (configuration specs, layouts, integration concepts, assumptions, and risks) that enable project engineering to pick up projects cleanly for detailed design (FEED and beyond)
• Channel voice-of-customer and market intel back to product management to sharpen the product and roadmap
• Scale the applications engineering function: partner with our software and AI team to build tools to automate processes such as layouts, drawings, and cost estimates; mentor and help grow a small team of applications engineers over time
• Typical travel of ~25%, potentially including some international travel
