About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Antora’s efforts to identify, evaluate, acquire, and co-develop energy projects for long-duration energy storage (LDES) deployment.
Originating and structuring novel commercial agreements with renewable developers.
Build Antora’s pipeline of co-located storage projects through developer relationships, rigorous diligence, and creative deal structuring.
Develop and manage working relationships with renewable developers in target ISO/RTO markets across the US.
Negotiate complex and novel agreements to govern co-development and co-location structures.
Work with internal stakeholders to apply project scoring frameworks to prioritize opportunities based on site quality, development and interconnection status, market access, and strategic fit.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in renewable energy space, with direct experience in project acquisition, M&A, or structured development partnerships.
Demonstrated experience structuring complex, multi-agreement deals in the renewable energy space.
Track record of successfully acquiring and/or developing utility-scale renewable energy and/or storage projects in MISO, SPP, or PJM.
Experience negotiating MIPAs, asset purchase agreements, co-development agreements, and related transaction documents.
Familiarity with interconnection mechanics and regulations, especially as they relate to storage projects.
Understanding of ISO/RTO capacity markets and how storage assets can participate in and optimize capacity revenues.
Ability to manage multiple projects and counterparty relationships simultaneously in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
Strong communication skills with ability to distill complex deal structures into clear recommendations for leadership.
