About the role

  • Work closely with the QA, CI, User Experience, and Product Management teams to solve technology challenges
  • Deliver Anthology's new feature and original system releases
  • Advocate for and implement engineering best practices across the team and organization
  • Coordinate with other team leads on cross-team projects to ensure dependencies are identified, understood, and managed
  • Work with AI technology to enhance development efficiency and create new features

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience within cloud software development
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of managing and growing high performing teams providing education or enterprise SaaS
  • Considerable experience with Java and SQL on database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres
  • Experienced with current web development technologies like Spring, jQuery, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, React, Backbone, and Typescript
  • A working understanding of software engineering best practices and Agile methods
  • Experience working with product management at a senior management level
  • Experience with large consumer-facing applications
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
