About the role

  • Focus on Anthology Ally, a product that makes digital course content more accessible
  • Create and maintain automation frameworks and testing tools
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, design sessions, code reviews, and sprint demos
  • Guide junior software testing engineers on best practices for manual and automated testing

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in QA manual testing and automation
  • Experience developing test automation scripts for web applications and REST APIs
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium Webdriver and TestNG
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Technical understanding of database configuration and ability to write complex SQL queries
  • Light experience with one or more scripting languages like shell or bash
  • Light experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, XML, JSON
  • Familiarity with build environments like Jenkins, Docker and Mesos
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
