About the role
- Work on the Blackboard LMS, providing solutions to support users
- Collaborate with agile team members in daily stand-ups, design sessions, and code reviews
- Embrace test-driven development practices
- Troubleshoot live production environments and respond to client-reported issues
- Build capabilities for addressing technology layers for fixes and new features
Requirements
- Any experience designing, writing, and deploying scalable software
- Light experience with the React, HTML, CSS and web application development
- Any experience with Object-Oriented design and coding
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Light exposure to writing unit and integration tests
- Ability to work with engineers on cross-functional agile projects
- An understanding of data structures, algorithm analysis, and design skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Light experience with the Java stack, SQL databases and web application development (preferred)
