About the role

  • Developing due diligence policies and strategies
  • Conducting value chain mapping and supply chain risk assessments
  • Designing human rights and environmental risk mitigation programs
  • Supporting clients in leading regulatory readiness and gap assessments
  • Developing strategic approaches to supplier engagement as a cornerstone of supply chain decarbonization
  • Managing the delivery of client engagements on time, on budget, and on schedule
  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with all clients and focusing on their sustainability goals
  • Providing guidance and technical oversight to junior and senior consultants
  • Contributing to and developing proposals for potential clients and projects
  • Communicating the client’s sustainability purpose and performance credibly

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a sustainability practitioner for Senior Consultant
  • 7+ years of experience for Principal Consultant
  • Expertise in human rights and environmental due diligence within a company’s direct operations and value chain
  • Experience with corporate supply chains, sourcing/procurement, and/or supplier engagement/capacity-building
  • Strong understanding of Climate/Net Zero-related concepts
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail in large datasets, savvy with data visualizations
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience developing dynamic dashboards using platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Proficiency in English is required
  • Fluency in the local language is required – German/French/Spanish as a bonus is a plus.
