About the role

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll
  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for above areas
  • Prepare internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP
  • Manage and develop accounting staff through hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and policies
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Collaborate with FP&A and senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Monitor cash flow, and banking relationships
  • Evaluate and implement financial systems and technology improvements to drive efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
  • 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven leadership and team development abilities.
