About the role
- Support the medical and scientific strategy for the rare disease portfolio.
- Develop, review, and maintain a library of standard response documents (SRDs), FAQs, and scientific content.
- Ensure materials are scientifically accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Monitor trends in inquiries to identify emerging data needs.
- Partner with Medical Affairs colleagues for alignment of strategies.
- Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Support the development and review of scientific publications and educational resources.
- Oversee Medical Information request intake, tracking, and reporting system.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to assess effectiveness of operations.
- Support medical congress planning and scientific exchange activities.
Requirements
- Advanced scientific/clinical degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Medical Communications, Publication Planning and/or related functions within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (rare disease experience strongly preferred).
- Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for Medical Information medical content and scientific communications.
- Experience with medical information systems, inquiry management databases, and/or publications/communications deliverables.
