About the role

  • Handling, organising, analysing and presenting performance data related to Rotor Sails
  • Assisting with the completion of Fuel Saving Assessments (FSA’s)
  • Developing the company’s modelling tools
  • Structural and mechanical analysis of rotor sail components
  • Preparation of technical documentation including specifications and bills of material for procurement and production
  • CAD modelling and 2D draughting

Requirements

  • Completed 3rd year of an Engineering degree (MEng)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong self-checking skills – attention to detail is vital
  • Excellent programming skills particularly MATLAB or other transferable software programs
  • Excellent IT skills including email (Outlook), Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Professional, proactive attitude with ability to work autonomously
  • Experience with a variety of programming languages (desirable)
  • Experience with engineering design software e.g. AutoCAD, Rhino (desirable)
