QA Automation Engineer

• Design and implement automation and control systems for shipboard applications, including propulsion, auxiliary systems, and energy management
• Develop PLC and HMI software (Siemens preferred)
• Produce functional design specifications (FDS), control philosophies, I/O lists, and system architecture documentation
• Perform FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities, including onboard vessel work
• Integrate control systems with electrical and mechanical systems on vessels
• Troubleshoot and optimise systems during development, testing, and operation
• Ensure compliance with classification society and marine regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
