About the role

  • **What you’ll do here:**

  • - Identify opportunities for technology improvements and cost savings
  • - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • - **Vendor Management**
  • - Negotiate and manage contracts with IT vendors and service providers
  • - Ensure service level agreements are met and maintain positive vendor relationships
  • - **Security and Compliance**
  • - Implement and maintain robust IT security measures
  • - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards

Requirements

  • **Qualifications:**
  • - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • - 5+ years of experience in IT management roles
  • - Strong knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry
  • - Proven experience in project management, preferably with TMS implementations
  • - Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • - Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications are a plus
