About the role

  • Create and maintain project structures (WBS) and associated baseline data in SAP and applicable project tools.
  • Maintain action logs and facilitate tracking of business risks, issues and mitigation actions.
  • Prepare and consolidate internal and external project reports (dashboards, cost summaries, forecasts).
  • Contribute to change management activities by compiling change requests and providing supporting documentation for review.
  • Support cash flow tracking and basic monitoring of working capital (billing status, collections data, cost schedule).
  • Support preparation of milestone billing in accordance with contract terms (draft billing files, supporting documentation, internal coordination).
  • Support project cost monitoring and control activities, including periodic cost reviews and follow-ups with stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of bonds and letters of credit (data collection, forms, coordination).
  • Prepare and compile documents necessary to support cash hedging/coverage activities.
  • Compile timesheets and vendor invoices required for client claims and billing support; maintain audit-ready records.
  • Perform data entry and gather information from various departments and internal/external stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide coordination and basic support for project tools (updates, user guidance, minor troubleshooting).
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities using ETL automation, standardized datasets (single source of truth) and Power BI dashboards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and time constraints.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (asset).
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP + SUMIF formulas, pivot tables).
  • Experience evaluating workflows and identifying automation opportunities using automated ETL processes, a governed 'single source of truth' data approach, and Power BI reporting.
  • Project management skills (asset).
  • Bilingual – French and English.
