About the role

  • Create 3D models for structural mechanical evaluation
  • Optimize designs and concepts in collaboration with the hydraulic development team
  • Actively participate in mechanical analysis of hydropower plant components
  • Work closely with colleagues in other departments and at international locations
  • Review and approve mechanical designs, taking contractual and internal requirements into account

Requirements

  • Completed technical education (TU/FH or HTL) with a minimum of 5 years' professional experience
  • Strong skills in 3D design (Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter)
  • Solid knowledge of heavy mechanical equipment, welded structures, and manufacturing and machining methods
  • Ideally experienced with FEA software (preferably ANSYS)
  • Excellent English skills
  • Independent, well-structured and precise working style
  • High commitment and flexibility
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, initiative and creativity
