About the role
- Overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of products and materials.
- Managing the warehouse team and driving operational efficiency.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Planning and prioritizing daily work schedules based on shipment and production plans.
- Ensuring accurate inventory control, including daily checks, cycle counts, and spot inventories.
- Collaborating with Production, Planning, and Sales to optimize material flow and minimize handling.
Requirements
- High School or GED diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including team leadership.
- Experience managing a warehouse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization.
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to resolve operational issues independently.
