About the role

  • Lead the operational and non-trading functions for Anchorage Digital Prime business.
  • Act as the orchestrator for non-standard, complex, or high-value trades.
  • Collaborate with Front Office and Middle/Back Office to implement robust, scalable operational workflows.
  • Oversee the integration and optimization of trading, risk, and settlement systems.
  • Be the senior escalation point for trade breaks and operational delays.
  • Ensure trading activities adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead internal New Product Committee process conducting due diligence on new trading strategies.
  • Manage relationships with prime brokers, custodians, and central clearing counterparties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field. An MBA or CFA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a COO, Head of Operations, or senior Business Management role within a sell side trading business, asset manager/hedge fund, or proprietary trading firm.
  • Mandatory deep functional understanding of the operational and risk implications of products across Spot/Cash Markets, Prime Finance (Securities Lending, Repo), and Derivatives (Swaps, Futures, Options).
  • Deep Understanding of the operational and risk challenges associated with trading and settling digital assets and related products (e.g., crypto futures, ETPs). Familiarity with custody solutions and the concept of on-chain vs. off-chain settlement across various protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of global financial market regulations and operational best practices.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to bridge communication gaps between traders and operational specialists.
