About the role

  • Shape the technical foundation that powers mission-critical reporting across the organization
  • Design data architectures and reporting systems for high-stakes use cases
  • Serve as the technical lead for complex data challenges
  • Establish patterns and standards for the team
  • Partner with Finance, Compliance, Product, and Engineering to architect data models
  • Mentor engineers and solve hard technical problems

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles
  • Expert-level data modeling skills
  • Deep expertise in SQL and data transformation
  • Extensive experience with modern BI platforms (Looker strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
  • Strong foundation in data quality and testing
  • Experience with Python-based data tools
  • Experience with orchestration platforms (Airflow, Dagster, etc.)
  • Cloud data warehouse expertise (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift)
  • Technical leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Track record of delivering high-quality results
