About the role
- Perform cloud infrastructure analysis, design, and development to accelerate adoption of Enterprise Cloud Environment
- Integrate technical services and capabilities with the cloud environment
- Troubleshoot cloud functionality issues and resolve defects for software developers
- Provide recommendations for configuration, management, and maintenance of the Government cloud baseline
- Monitor data integrity across tiered environments
- Manage the deployment process and perform account management
- Ensure security compliance
- Identify billing model best practices and optimizations and support application upgrades
- Assist in product documentation and release notes
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience related to specific functional area
- Currently hold one or more AWS cloud certifications at the Foundational or Associate levels (e.g. Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, SysOps Engineer, Developer)
- Proven ability to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services
- Experience with cloud migration planning, cloud technology roadmaps, and technology insertion
- Experience with cloud-native computing principles and technologies (e.g., containers, microservices, serverless)
- Experience automating cloud deployments and managing configuration at scale
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, CIS Benchmarks)
- Familiarity with networking concepts and practices, including TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, routing, switching, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting
- Experience with cloud monitoring tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with deployment strategies and release management in cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving skills in diagnosing and resolving cloud infrastructure and application issues
- Experience writing technical documentation, release notes, and operational procedures
