About the role
- Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems.
- Support critical hotel systems (e.g., Property Management, Point of Sale, key card access, IP telephony, CCTV, and guest Wi-Fi).
- Enforce cybersecurity protocols, ensure data backups, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Provide IT support across departments, troubleshoot issues, and train staff on IT systems and policies.
- Liaise with external IT vendors and corporate IT teams for support and system upgrades.
- Assist with IT budgeting, procurement, and asset inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry regulations.
- Participate in 24/7 support rotation for critical system issues and emergencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; 3+ years of IT management experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality software systems, networks, servers, Windows environments, and cloud services.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data protection laws, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with ability to manage vendors and budgets.
