About the role
- Perform analog and mixed signal circuit analysis, design, simulation, verification, and evaluation
- Create and present design/evaluation review documentation
- Interact with physical (layout) design engineers to optimize design performance metrics
- Perform lab evaluation and debug of state-of-the-art pipeline ADCs
- Work with a lab technician to setup and maintain test equipment
- Interface with Product/Design and Apps Engineering as well as Marketing as needed
Requirements
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; Ph.D. is a plus
- 3+ years industry experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency with industry standard design tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, EMX
- ADC architecture knowledge is highly desirable
- Good understanding of analysis, design, and simulation of transistor level blocks
- Good understanding of physical design (layout) of integrated circuits (ICs.)
- Familiarity with advanced FinFET CMOS technologies is highly desirable
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Strong lab and evaluation skills are very desirable
- Willing to learn and work on all phases of product development from feasibility to product release
