Program Manager

• Ensures that programs, activities, and services needed to fulfill the service agreement are performed to meet AMR’s obligations.
• Serves as primary staff liaison to assigned committees and assists them in executing their goals and objectives.
• Committee responsibilities include scheduling/coordinating meetings, drafting agendas in collaboration with committee chair, taking minutes and following up on action items.
• Manages all aspects of podcasts and webinars in coordination with committee chairs.
• Manage Association website - update content, contribute to content creation, answer inquiries, ensure news/events and job board are updated; remove/hide outdated pages, monitor, and report on website analytics.
• Manages all aspects of online member community – assisting users, troubleshooting, updating content, reviewing for accuracy, and other regular updates and maintenance as necessary.
• Develop and foster partnerships with key association contacts, sponsors, and partnerships.
• Manage association communications including print, online and social media platforms, recognizing and sharing content applicable to the association on a consistent schedule, monitor, report on analytics and implement strategies to maximize the association’s influence and reach.
• Provide a high level of customer service and monitor and respond timely to all member inquiries and requests (phone, email, web form).
• Provides conference support (pre, post and on-site) as assigned – manage speakers and sponsor programs, serve as staff liaison to program committee, create content for marketing materials, collect presentations, exhibit hall management, etc.
• Work independently as an individual contributor requiring little supervision/oversight but also have the ability to work collaboratively internally and with volunteer leaders as a strong team player.

Director

• Ensure all programs, activities, and services needed to fulfill the Annual Workplan of the assigned association are performed to meet AMR’s contractual obligations.
• Support the Board and volunteer leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities in leading the association.
• Forecast conditions, assesses member needs, and allocates resources appropriately.
• Work collaboratively with the Association’s Foundation to advance its mission, support fundraising initiatives, and ensure alignment between the Foundation and the broader organizational goals.
• Develop annual and long-range strategic goals and lead efforts to execute and meet strategic goals.
• Inform manager and/or client leadership of matters or developments that warrant attention.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the AMR client team and Board.
• Manage staff resources allocated to association(s) and monitor budgeted time vs. actual and inform manager of any concerns.
• Oversee the development of the annual workplan.
• Identify and recommend services to expand the scope of work for the association and AMR, as appropriate.
• Develop, follow, and maintain association(s) policy and operating procedures.
• Conduct quarterly feedback and development conversations with direct reports.
• Serve as a mentor and coach to AMR team members – direct reports and indirect reports assigned to the client(s).
• Remain current on best practices and standards in the association industry and the marketplace to take advantage of short and long-term opportunities.
• Provide regular client updates to Board and AMR Executive Team.
• Manage projects and facilitate team communication with the utilization of Basecamp.
• File annual report with Secretary of State’s office.
• Collaborate with internal team members and with the client to ensure successful events.
• Develop annual budget for internal and external review and input.
• Analyze monthly finance report and prepare summary memo.
• Ensure all revenues and expenses are in alignment with established budgets, noting variances when needed.
• Provide requested information to support 990 tax return and audit/financial review.
• Monitor investment balances and make recommendations, as needed, in alignment with the association’s investment policy.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships externally between AMR and Board, between the association and key stakeholders, between the account team and shared services and with association leadership and members.
• Draft and send business communications to the Board, members, stakeholders, etc., as needed.
• Identify and support efforts to create value for members, sponsors, etc.

Executive Director

Project Manager

• Monitors and maintains the association website: updates content, contributes to content creation, answers inquiries, ensures news/events and job board are updated; removes/hides outdated pages, and monitors and reports on website analytics.
• Develops association communications including print, online and social media platforms; recognizes and shares content applicable to the association and distributes/posts on a consistent schedule; collaborates with creative services on design elements.
• Provides conference support (pre, post and on-site) as assigned, including speaker and sponsor programs, marketing/communications, evaluation, continuing education, and on-site support.
• Provides a high level of customer service and monitors and responds timely to all member inquiries and requests (phone, email, web form).
• Develops and fosters relationships with key association contacts, sponsors, and partnerships.
• Performs quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision and meets regularly with Account Executive(s) to ensure proper information flow and adherence to goals.
• Maintains records and files and ensures the safe keeping of all company and association records.
• Interacts professionally with other employees, clients, and vendors and complies with company and association policy.
