About the role

  • Engage health care professionals (HCPs) through virtual interactions to promote assigned client product(s)
  • Maximize product selling potential and meet program and company objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and educate them about product features, benefits, safety profiles, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use
  • Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations
  • Promote company product(s) via remote engagements (telephone or video/audio outbound calls)
  • Profile and manage targeted lists of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume
  • Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program
  • Effectively communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of company product(s) and programming
  • Verify and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college required
  • B2B, field pharmaceutical sales, remote sales, or medical sales experience desired.
  • Technical aptitude to navigate meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and other remote engagement software.
  • Willingness to work in all time zones if needed.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong focus on supporting customer needs.
  • Effective rapport-building skills and active listening skills.
  • Excellent selling, closing, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology, including competitive information, virtually and in person.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently and within a team.
  • Good organizational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and technical aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and digital meeting platforms.
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
