About the role
- Engage health care professionals (HCPs) through virtual interactions to promote assigned client product(s)
- Maximize product selling potential and meet program and company objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and educate them about product features, benefits, safety profiles, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use
- Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations
- Promote company product(s) via remote engagements (telephone or video/audio outbound calls)
- Profile and manage targeted lists of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume
- Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals
- Maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program
- Effectively communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills
- Maintain thorough knowledge of company product(s) and programming
- Verify and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college required
- B2B, field pharmaceutical sales, remote sales, or medical sales experience desired.
- Technical aptitude to navigate meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and other remote engagement software.
- Willingness to work in all time zones if needed.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong focus on supporting customer needs.
- Effective rapport-building skills and active listening skills.
- Excellent selling, closing, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology, including competitive information, virtually and in person.
- Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently and within a team.
- Good organizational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated proficiency and technical aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and digital meeting platforms.
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
