About the role
- Design, develop, and implement innovative learning experiences across formats: eLearning, vILT, microlearning, job aids, and performance support tools.
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of digital guidance and in-app experiences using WalkMe, including Smart Walk-Thrus, Tooltips, Launchers, ShoutOuts, and Surveys.
- Create holistic learner experience, including emotional and cognitive engagements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and process owners to understand system workflows and identify opportunities for digital enablement through WalkMe.
- Conduct learning and performance needs assessments and translate findings into targeted learning strategies and adoption journeys.
- Crafts end-to-end learning journeys that are engaging, human-centered, and meaningful.
- Apply adult learning principles, design thinking behavioral science, and UX best practices to create human-centered learning experiences for long term retention.
- Partner with IT and platform owners to ensure WalkMe solutions align with system updates, change management efforts, and business goals.
- Manage content deployment via learning platforms (LMS/LXP) and track learner engagement, adoption metrics, and performance outcomes.
- Evaluate and iterate on learning and WalkMe experiences based on feedback, analytics, and business impact.
- Stay current on learning technology trends, digital adoption platforms (DAPs), and design innovations to continuously improve the learner and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience
- Experience in instructional design or learning experience design, preferably in a corporate or SaaS environment
- WalkMe certification or advanced training is highly desirable.
- Experience in change management and digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or JavaScript for WalkMe customization is a plus.
- Exposure to other digital adoption platforms (e.g., Pendo, Whatfix) is a bonus.
