Auditor

• Conduct testing and analysis of specified areas of scope using samples and other data identify areas of risk, planning, fieldwork and reporting on executed audit projects.
• Participate on development planning memos, risk and control matrices and refine the design of audit programs for each audit.
• Execute Internal Audit projects as components of the Internal Audit Plan, special management requests, advisory work, process improvement consulting and various follow-up activities.
• Drive closure of “open” identified observations from internal audit reports.
• Limited assistance in development and execution of an annual risk assessment and internal audit plan.
• Assist in the refinement of the Internal Audit Methodology, including development of supporting policies, procedures, reporting templates and other infrastructure related items.

Underwriter

• Work on buy-side acquisitions for single-family residential real estate
• Underwrite and locate investment opportunities using market comparables to determine rent, value, and bid price
• Participate in acquisition lifecycle and due diligence, concession negotiation management
• Manage ongoing revenue management pricing and strategy for portfolio of 45,000+ homes
• Coordinate with construction arm to identify and repair material defects to meet lending standards
• Construct presentations on market trends and strategies for senior management
• Collaborate with operating partners to improve margins and returns
• Expected to work in the Austin, TX office five days a week
