About the role

  • Deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions within the Bridges teams
  • Manage and maintain projects worth in excess of £1bn across Scotland
  • Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to implement major engineering projects
  • Engage in various ongoing structural engineering projects to develop technical skills
  • Apply assessments and strengthening design practices on major bridge structures across Scotland
  • Participate in the long-term management strategy of critical infrastructure crossings.

Requirements

  • Structural Engineering qualifications at various levels depending on the specific role (Assistant Structural Engineers, Structural Engineers, Senior Structural Engineers, Lead Senior Structural Engineers, Principal Engineers)
  • Technical knowledge and experience relative to the position level
  • Willingness to participate in the management and maintenance of Trunk Road Network Management Contracts.
  • Ability to deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions that enhance life and protect the environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
