About the role
- To work in a team, assisting in the production of technically sound engineering solutions, complying with all relevant technical standards and client requirements
- General office duties associated with the smooth running of a consulting engineering business
- Working on site, either on a visiting basis or in a full time but temporary role and including out of hours working
- You will be expected to meet budget targets and deadlines set by your manager but will have no responsibility for the financial performance of the project
Requirements
- Building structures experience.
- Be able to assist senior staff in producing technically sound deliverables (designs, calculations, drawings, documentation).
- Application of engineering theory and principles with appropriate supervision.
- Experience of engineering software: 3D CAD software, Tekla Structural Designer and Tekla Tedds.
- Support compliance with technical standards, including Eurocodes, and CDM 2015.
- Clear communication with the team, mentors, and wider stakeholders.
- Show progression towards Incorporated or Chartered status with a relevant professional institution.
