About the role
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about services, appointments, and pet care.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of client information and pet medical histories.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Address client concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Provide information on pet care, vaccination schedules, and preventative health measures.
- Follow up with clients after visits to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions.
- Work closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure seamless communication.
- Assist in preparing examination rooms and ensuring cleanliness and organization within the clinic.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss clinic goals and improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in using computer systems and scheduling software.
